To modularize froi, I wrote some perl modules. These modules provide a reusable framework for dealing with FS-FAST and froi from the command-line
Most useful to people is the Parse.pm module, which provides numerous functions for the parsing of various FS-FAST configuration files and setting of appropriate hash variables. This module will greatly simplify dealing with FS-FAST text files.
To get the most out of Parse.pm, you should also use Misc.pm, which, among other things, provides a logging facility that can be quite useful when debugging.
Finally, ROI.pm provides most of the functions for dealing with ROIs and also provides the hooks for running the matlab functions.
